The Cornerstone

The Cornerstone is a core piece in the Foundation series — built from firm, dependable leather into an everyday structured pen case. Its rectangular form holds its shape whether tucked in a bag or set on a desk — a commitment to durable basics. This pen case is made entirely from thick Buttero vegetable-tanned leather — firm and structured, exactly suited to a design that needs to hold its shape. Over time, the leather surface gradually develops a sheen and texture that's uniquely yours, ageing more beautifully the more you use it. You can also have your name or a favourite phrase engraved on it — a small reminder to yourself through a dull lecture, and a personal touch on this minimalist design. Every structural seam is joined by hand with saddle stitching, so it stays crisp and upright, open or closed. The zip glides smoothly, and the interior comfortably holds pens, rulers, erasers, and other everyday stationery.
